Unfiltered #41: Well, Here We Are!
So, Trump got elected again.
Now, I'm still drifting in the fog of 'what the fuck' over here in the great vast North, but we don't have time to sit and stew over this. Democracy in the United States is under severe and imminent threat, so the time to act is now.
Today's content has shifted accordingly. While winter survival for the poor is essential—and I encourage you to go back and refresh your memories about how to help the homeless get through the winter alive– we also need to worry about maintaining the safety and liberty of all citizens.
With that in mind, I wanted to talk about something that just happened within the past couple of days, which illustrates the importance of stepping up and making your voice heard by your elected representatives.
Elections still matter right now. Maybe that'll change in a few years, but we have to work in the present with what we have.
I'll also discuss what Canadians have to worry about now that Trump has been elected, which isn't just scary for those south of our borders. It should scare us, too.
With that in mind, today's episode of Unfiltered is going out to all World-Weary subscribers, not only those who pay. We'll return to our usual schedule later, but this message is vital for everybody to hear.
